Our Story
For a decade, Brian was the guy behind the scenes in the pool industry. He’d seen every possible "pool disaster"- from filtration systems that sounded like jet engines to backyard ponds that had more in common with a swamp than a swimming pool. He knew the chemistry, the mechanics, and exactly why a pool would suddenly turn "Hulk green" overnight.
But it wasn't just the technical side that caught his attention. It was the phone calls.
The Constant Question
It usually started with a Saturday afternoon braai. A friend would pull him aside, gesturing toward a cloudy pool with a frustrated sigh.
"Brian, you've been doing this for years... don't you know a guy?"
It happened again at the Park Run. Then at Sunday lunch with the in-laws. It was always the same story: homeowners were tired of "no-shows," inconsistent service, and the dreaded "green surprises" that seemed to happen right before a long weekend. People didn't just want their pH levels checked; they wanted someone they could actually trust.
The "Aha" Moment
After a particularly long week of giving out free advice and fixing friends' DIY mistakes, the realization finally clicked. Brian didn't need to find "a guy" for them - he was the guy.
